“Do you feel lucky…. punk!?” Nou, de Rotterdamse indiepopband Lucky Blue voelt zich in elk geval prima: dit kwartet schrijft zonnige liedjes voor springerige melodieën die treffen als een wilde aai over je bol. Het debuutalbum Dog Days worstelt zich door de dompers en tegenvallers des levens met nonchalante bluf. De naam zegt het stiekempjes al: Lucky Blue is catchy en dansbaar zonder de melancholische gevoelens te ontkennen, als een anker dat het schip op zijn plek houdt. De band heeft al aardig wat airplay gekregen via 3FM en KINK met een repertoire perfect uitgemeten voor de groene festivalweides.
